	Hush Puppies Adapted from a recipe of Lola Hammons Ingredients:      1 1/2 c corn meal      1/2 c flour      2 T baking powder      1 t salt      1 T sugar      1 egg      3/4 c milk      1/2 c onions, chopped      1/2 c cheese, grated (optional)      1/4 c jalapeno peppers, chopped (optional) Directions:      1.  Mix all ingredients.      2.  Drop by spoonful into hot gease or oil.  Fry until golden brown. If you must reheat these before serving, reheat in a moderate to hot oven.  Do not reheat in a microwave oven.
