"S" Cookies
Ingredients:
5 eggs Directions: 1. Beat eggs and vanilla until thick and creamy. Set aside. 2. Combine all dry ingredients, including almonds and sesame seeds. 3. Add shortening and work in like you would for pie crust. 4. Make a well in flour mixture and add beaten eggs. Mix well. (Dough should be pliable but not sticky.) 5. Pinch off chunks of dough, rool out pencil thin, and cut into 2-inch pieces. For a "S" shape and place on a greased cookie sheet. 6. Bake for 15 minutes at 350 degrees until golden brown. 7. When cooled, frost with powdered sugar glaze.
